A site mainly financed by entrance fees

The teams of veterinarians - here Franck Bonin and Stéphane Gagno in the tortoise clinic -, animals handlers, technicians, and the reception staff of the Tortoise Village of Carnoules are working hard to keep a structure entirely focused on raising public awareness on the reptile's protection and mainly financed by the entrance fees to the site. They carry out their mission while welcoming numerous visitors from all over Europe. The Tortoise Village is also accessible to school trips, families, and individuals wishing to deepen their knowledge of chelonians, shell reptiles that include tortoises.
