A major tourist site, the Verrerie de Biot has contributed since 1956 to the cultural and artistic dynamics of the eponymous village. In addition to the Biot Glass Ecomuseum, it houses a glassmakers hall dedicated to demonstrating the techniques of glassmaking, several exhibition venues (the International Glass Gallery and the large showroom), a decoration shop, and a restaurant, in which it welcomes nearly 700,000 visitors per year.
