A major climbing site

Just before the La Lande Viaduct, in Clécy, the Orne begins a left turn and finds itself bordered by a shale cliff. The Rochers des Parcs bar crosses Lower Normandy from west to east, from Granville to Falaise. It is made up of very resistant rocks dating from the Cambrian (540 million years). The river has never managed to carve out a passage there and forms a loop all along the gorge. More than 150 routes have been equipped for climbing with several levels of difficulty. Along with the cliffs of Finistère, those of the Rochers des Parcs remain the most important climbing site in Western France.
