The GHM company, whose activity began in 1857 in Sommevoire, received the EPV (Entreprise du patrimoine vivant) label in 2018. Its craft and industrial know-how are thus honoured. In addition to the production of contemporary urban furniture (benches, lamp posts, tramway masts), the foundry perpetuates the tradition of art castings (Wallace fountains, statues, firebacks). In the past, renowned artists such as Auguste Bartholdi, Hector Guimard, Emmanuel Frémiet or Pierre Louis Rouillard had works made at Sommevoire, which can still be admired in Paris, London, Washington, Edinburgh or New York.
