The relief of the island of Bagaud, in the archipelago of Hyères, is not very pronounced. It rises to 226 ft (69 m) and comprises several sea cliffs that do not exceed 98 ft (30 m). Geologically, the island mainly consists of ovoid quartzites, sandstone phyllades with chloritoids, and mica schists. The north coast of Bagaud Island comprises sedimentary lands that correspond to a reduced outcrop of dune sandstone.
