Located to the west of Marseille on the edge of the coast, the district is crossed by two structuring axes, the Corniche President-John-Fitzgerald-Kennedy from northwest to southeast and Rue d'Endoume from northeast to southwest. It is home to various picturesque and touristic sites such as the corniche, but also the Pont de la Fausse Monnaie, the small Vallon des Auffes port, and Malmousque at its western end.
