The marina of Bormes-les-Mimosas is a port with modern infrastructures privately managed by the International Yacht Club of the city. It is in charge of welcoming the boats moored on the marina's 17 acres (7 ha) of basins and managing its 18,044 square ft (5,500 m²) of fairing area. As a guarantee of the quality of its waters, the port flies the blue flag created in 1985 by the French office of the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe. It promotes the municipalities and marinas that permanently lead a sustainable tourism development policy.
