Considered the largest marina in Europe, Port Vauban of Antibes extends over 62 acres (25 ha) of water. Its total berthing length of 13,779 linear feet (4,200 m) allows it to accommodate 1,650 boats for mooring from 13 ft (4 m) long tonnages to large tonnages of over 541 ft (165 m). Managed by Vauban 21, a private company subsidiary of the Nice Côte d'Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it drains an entire economy around yachting and related services such as shipyards for refit and repair, nautical clubs, or even crew agencies.
