With a depth of 6.5 to 26.2 ft (2 to 8 m), the Port Vauban of Antibes has the particularity of having numerous berths (1,650) and one of the few reception sites for more than 328 ft (100 m) long yachts at the Quai des Milliardaires. A beacon lighthouse located to the east indicates the entrance to the port. Spread over 309 acres (125 ha), Port Vauban has numerous concrete and floating pontoons and, in its Great Pleasure basin, a system of mooring boxes and 7.9 ft (2.43 m) in diameter floats that allow the mooring of mega-yachts on two crow's feet buoys.
