The Ford RS200 displayed in the Cité de l'Automobile is a four-wheel-drive, mid-engined competition car produced by Ford between 1984 and 1986. Beside it is a rally car fitted by Simon Racing and created in 1966. Its owner and driver, Simon Edmond, was one of the big names in international rally driving, also known for the quality of his preparations. He prepared cars for rally legends like Jean Ragnotti, Didier Auriol, or Alain Oreille, who won two world championship titles in 1989 and 1990 with Simon Racing. The Cité de l'Automobile displays numerous rally cars within its collections.
