Arizes Lake is a small mountain lake extending in the Hautes-Pyrénées department at an altitude of 6,610 ft (2015 m). This body of water sits below the Pic de la Montagnette and constitutes a hiking destination from the Castillon dam below the La Mongie ski resort. In winter, a climb to the Arizes hut and its lake on snowshoes or hiking skis allows visitors to discover the landscape that stretches out under the summit of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and its observatory.
