The village of Sainte-Agnès, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, is dedicated to the patroness saint of chastity and body purity. Its streets, stairs, and squares, however, also honor numerous other saints. Saint John has a square and a road named after him, and Saint Michael an avenue and a staircase. A street and a path bear the name of Saint Lucy, and Sainte Anne is honored by a street and Saint Sebastian by a promenade. Moreover, the substantial religious heritage of the village also includes two churches and five chapels.
