The distillation of Henri Bardouin pastis is carried out hot in a still. It consists in separating the products by heating then cooling according to an almost alchemical process allowing to extract the quintessence of the aromas. The still consists of a body (boiler) in which the liquids to be distilled are placed. The boiler is covered with a capital provided with a conical tube in which the heated vapors rise. A gooseneck conducts these vapors into the coil on the walls of which they condense as they cool.
