The Plaza Athénée Hotel is located in the Golden Triangle formed by Avenue Montaigne, the Champs-Elysées and Avenue George-V. It is the district of the great fashion houses and luxury jewellers. In the 1950s, Christian Dior contributed to the palace’s reputation by regularly presenting his haute couture collections there. Today, the Plaza Athénée is always fully booked during the Paris fashion weeks. The hotel offers a choice of 154 rooms and 54 suites. Those on the first six floors are decorated in the Regency, Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. On the seventh and eighth floors, however, Art Deco reigns supreme.
