The diving watch is the diver's minimum measuring tool. Designed for the practice of scuba diving, it generally has a waterproofness calibrated for a pressure équivalent to a depth of 656 or 984 ft (200 or 300m) but can, depending on the model, withstand much greater depths. The current absolute depth record holder is the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional with a 35,843 ft (10,925 m) deep dive. The diving watch is also equipped with a unidirectional mobile bezel allowing the relative measurement of the duration of the dive.
