A market supplied by nine fishermen

Built in 1936, Trouville-sur-Mer's fish market is a Norman-style building with wooden beams and cob typical of the region. Nine fishermen land their fresh cargo there on stalls spread over 656 ft (200 m). Each comprises a dining area and offers to cook what visitors have just bought. Mackerels, soles, scallops, or gray shrimps and mussels participate in the diversity of the stalls. Listed in 1992, the original building burned down in 2006 and was rebuilt identically.
