While Camargue is mainly known for the salt marshes dotting its landscape and for its swamps roamed by horses, it also benefits from a coastline suitable for exploration. The region is home to numerous wild panoramas and family-friendly beaches. The western part of Camargue houses the most populated and touristic side with Grau-du-Roi and Port Camargue. Moving further east, towards Arles country, the quieter and more preserved beaches extend among the salt marshes.
