Roussillon is the second village in Vaucluse to have been listed among the most beautiful villages in France after Gordes. The character of this colorful village described by Jean Vilar as the pearl of the ochre massif, which sparkles in its green path has seduced many artists. The writer Claude Berger, the poet Jean Cocteau, the actor Fernandel, or the painter Pierre Ambrogiani roamed the streets of Roussillon.
