Fishermen may find brown trouts, brook trouts, and minnows in its waters. An easy hike to the lake is possible through the Lutour valley to the Estom refuge, which houses 30 spaces. Estom Lake is at the foot of Pic de la Sède (9,763 ft / 2,976 m) and Pic du Labas (9,665 ft / 2,946 m).
