A garden for Jacques Prévert

The French poet Jacques Prévert (1900-1977) loved the Port Racine region and, in 1970, he bought a typical norman house in Omonville-la-Petite. Now a museum, it displays original works. Facing Port Racine in the Vallée des Moulins, a garden was created in 1981 by his wife and friends. Yves Montand, Ursula Vian, Juliette Gréco, or Picasso planted a tree in homage to their friend. The garden was labeled as a Remarkable Garden in 2004.
