A large rock bastion
0
0
The western slope of the Montagne de Bure in the Dévoluy massif displays a large rock bastion formed entirely of Senonian limestones. The northward dip of the vault of the Bure anticline drawn by the different layers of limestones appears clearly. This anticline constitutes a carapace ripped to the south by the wooded sloped valley of the Béoux, which has laid bare the basement of the Senonian.
