A listed islet, fort and maritime domain

The islet and the Fort de Brégançon, off the Var coast, are protected sites listed by a decree of December 27, 1924. Cap Bénat and the public maritime domain owned by the French State also benefit from such recognition thanks to a decree of July 23, 1975. It delimits a 1640-ft wide (500 m) zone from the territorial boundary of the land site as defined by the cadastral plan. The maritime territory thus established surrounds the islet and the Fort de Brégançon.
