The Explorers
Léoube islet is a rocky islet located in the Mediterranean Sea near the Var coast. It extends off the municipality of Bormes-les-Mimosas, 1.2 miles (2 km) southeast of the beach of Argentière and 2.4 miles (4 km) northwest of the Fort de Brégançon. Perched on an eponymous islet, the fortress has been the official summer residence of the presidents of the French Republic since 1968.
