Everything about the Cotentin donkey’s appearance expresses gentleness: its eyes lined with long eyelashes and circled in white, its muzzle that one immediately wants to stroke, its dove-grey fur that gives it a soft plush look... Endowed with a great deal of patience with children, it is used to accompany quiet walks along the small paths of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay. Moreover, the donkey (Equus asinus) is an excellent mediator for people with disabilities, suffering from autism or Alzheimer’s.
