The waters of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez welcome yachts and sailboats from all over the world, attracted by the international fame of the village that became the cradle of a persistent myth from the 1950s. They also come to be part of the Voiles de Saint-Tropez, an internationally renowned nautical event that has brought together lovers of sailing and of maritime traditions since 1981. For a week, at the beginning of October, regattas confront the traditional yachts with the most modern ships.
