The Deauville cultural center of Les Franciscaines houses a universe dedicated to the world of horses thanks to a specialized fund built up over the years. Central to local life, the very identity horse culture indeed forms the basis of the history, economy, and daily activities of Deauville. The city, equipped with two racetracks, a training center, a Yearling auction house, and a complex dedicated to equestrian sports, remains structurally linked to the horse. It was therefore logical that Les Franciscaines should devote an extensive fund to it, constantly enriched by donations from collectors and organized in a stud-like gallery. Recognized by the National Library, it constitutes one of the benchmark collections in France.
