The calanque of Port Miou is similar to a Provençal fjord with turquoise waters fed by several freshwater sources. Surrounded by a pine forest, it is devoid of beaches but constitutes the starting point for many hikes in the Massif des Calanques along the GR 98 trail. The only calanque accessible by car, Port Miou forms a natural shelter for the boats in transit or at permanent anchorage along its two pontoons.
