A stallion and its harem
The zebra spends most of its time feeding, almost exclusively on grass, occasionally on leaves and pods. It lives in a herd of a few individuals to several dozens. The group is made up with a dominant stallion, its harem and young individuals. In females, there is also a dominance hierarchy, often linked to age and to seniority in the group.
