Both a natural space and a tourist pole

Pampelonne beach is both recognized as a remarkable natural space regarding the town planning code resulting from the Coastal Law of 1986 and as a key element of the World Tourism Pole which pre-existed the Coastal Law. Such a paradox allows the municipality of Ramatuelle to maintain the structures and establishments necessary for the international seaside economy of this highly frequented beach. It does so under strictly defined conditions that take into account the preservation of the natural environment.
