The Bugatti Type 35 appeared in the 1920s and marked the history of the automotive world through its technical qualities and track records in races. The Type 35 is also distinguishable by the nose screen placed only in front of the pilot, depriving the mechanic of wind protection, and the significant camber of the nose gear. The pilots are seated particularly high and face the corked aluminum dashboard and the wooden steering wheel with four metal spokes. An abundant collection of Bugatti cars is on display at the Cité de l'Automobile in Mulhouse.
