The Centre Pompidou-Metz is dedicating an exhibition to Marc Chagall. His stained glass work is particularly honored. The many sketches, in bright colors, display all the stages he went through to create, among other things, the stained-glass windows of Metz Cathedral. Sculptures, ceramics, and drawings with biblical themes complete the demonstration of Chagall's spiritual development. He considered the Bible to be an inexhaustible source of poetry and inspiration.
