A graveyard within a cloister

0
North of Notre-Dame de Clémence Monastery, in the Maures Massif, is the large cloister that holds the graveyard in its center. The spiritual core of the site forms a 229 by 82 ft (70 by 25 m) rectangle. It is bordered on the east, west, and north by the thirteen solitude cells of the nuns accessible by a fully covered arcaded gallery and, on the south side, by the Romanesque church. The graveyard in the inner courtyard holds the graves of the monks and nuns, without inscriptions and adorned with simple wooden crosses.
