The Przewalski horse (Equus ferus przewalskii) is a fairly massive horse of small stature. It measures 3.9 to 4.5 ft (1.20 to 1.40 m) at the withers and about 5.2 ft (1.60 m) at the top of the head. Its length reaches about 6.5 ft (2 m) without its tail, which is around 2.9 ft (90 cm). The horse's weight varies between 440 and 661 lbs (200 to 300 kg), depending on the individuals.
