An Art Nouveau water tower

The Castellane’s Tower, listed as a Historic Monument, offers a 360° panoramic view of Epernay and the surrounding hillsides. Champagne de Castellane was established along the Paris-Strasbourg railway line at the end of the 19th century. Its buildings house, on the same site, all the production facilities: from the vat room to the packaging of the bottles, including the 6 kilometres of cellars dug under the hill of Epernay. Built in reinforced concrete around 1904 as a water tower, the tower is in the purest Art Nouveau style.
