Champagne Marguet is committed to producing a more ecological, biodynamic, and sulfite-free champagne. Since 2010, the estate has returned to the use of draught horse for a greater respect of nature. Its slow, leisurely pace helps to aerate the soil, unlike tractor tyres. It avoids roots with the tips of its hooves and enriches the soil with its dung. Enriched and aerated soil gives a better harvest and therefore a more aromatic wine. Champagne Marguet has been certified biodynamic by Demeter for eight years.
