The Cité du Train-Patrimoine SNCF in Mulhouse has a 16,000 m2 outdoor area with permanent and temporary exhibitions. At the entrance, the marquee of the disused Cluny station (Saône-et-Loire) sets the scene for the early 20th century. A Lartigue mechanical signal, an imposing station crane and the Paris-Invalides signal box complete the scene. Nearby, return to the present with the passage of modern trains: TGV, international Intercity, Corail TER Alsace 200, freight trains, SNCF tram-trains and Mulhouse tramways.
