Listed as a Boat of Heritage Interest (BIP), the Don du Vent is a prestigious auric ketch built in 1947, combining history and tradition. As such, it is moored at the Quai d'Honneur in the Vieux-Port of Marseille. The Vieux-Port (Old Port) occupies the 928 ft (283 m) wide Lacydon calanque, between the Quai d'Honneur, under the town hall, and the Quai de Rive Neuve, which faces it below the enlighted Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.
