L’Ajonc de Le Gall est un arbrisseau de la famille des Fabacées. Il mesure 30 150 centimètres de haut. Il possède des épines robustes. On le trouve dans les milieux maritimes des côtes de l’Atlantique, de l’Ecosse à l’Espagne.
Ses fleurs sont de couleur jaune orangée et s’épanouissent de juillet à novembre.
