Once a male has dominated his rivals and conquered a female, their loves are caressing and peaceful with lots of licks. The giraffe females measure, in adulthood, 169.30 inches (4.30m) on average whereas the males can reach 228.34 inches (5.80m). The length of its limbs and neck make the giraffe the ideal model for NASA to study the effect of gravity on blood flow.
