The Luberon region is home to two natural tourist sites reminiscent of American Colorado: the Provençal Colorado of Rustrel and the Sentier des Ocres of Roussillon. Revealed by the human exploitation of the ocher quarries, they have been fitted out to allow the discovery of remarkable ocher landscapes. The route on the Sentier des Ocres lasts two hours while the discovery of the Provençal Colorado - shorter, wilder, and less frequented - displays the same diversity of colors.
