Transmit the history of the American soldiers

Above Utah Beach, the Musée du Débarquement (D-Day Museum) endeavors to preserve and transmit the history of the American soldiers who landed on June 6, 1944. In addition to conserved objects, a real B-26 bomber is exhibited in a hangar. Visitors can also watch Victory Beach, a documentary winner of the Golden Ciné Award in 2012. Outside the museum stands a life-size replica of the Higgins landing barges used by the American soldiers.
