The former Mathieu factory of Roussillon, operational from 1921 to 1963, now houses a Conservatory of Ocher managed by a non-profit cooperative that contributes to the enhancement of this local resource crucial for the historical heritage of the Pays d'Apt. It allows visiting old installations and getting familiar with the stages of ocher sand treatment. The site also provides its visitors with an archive, documentation, initiation, and training center.
