If the contemporary Inuits use snowmobiles more than dog sledges for their travels, they tow sled trailers to transport the cumbersome material needed for the expeditions. Adapted from the traditional 'komatik' (sled in Inuktitut), they can carry 1,102lbs (500kg) without the risk of spilling too easily in the roughest passages thanks to their ground clearance and good balance.
