Tradition and linguistic transmission

The city of Cuers has chosen to be part of the tradition and regional linguistic transmission. Since 2004, it has indeed offered families a fully bilingual French-Provençal public school. With the Frédéric-Mistral public school in Maillane and the Orangers nursery school in Nice, the Yves Bramerie school of Cuers is one of the few bilingual public schools in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Awarded the Louis-Vouland Prize for Provençal Vocation in 2011, this school belongs to the Calandreta (little lark in Occitan) tradition with an early linguistic immersion.
