In southern Honduras, when it is very hot, tortoises leave their territory to look for water points. To protect them from predators, the inhabitants of Choluteca drop them off in a fountain in the city center. Volunteers then put them back in their natural habitat. As soon as they reach the marsh, some rush to the water, others pop to the wet grasses to lay their eggs.
