All molds and tools used at the Lalique factory remain on the premises. The molds would be reused for small series. It is also necessary to keep all the mechanical parts nearby as the production cannot stop once the glass mass is at temperature. The process of glassblowing was already used around 100 BC and was imported in the USA around 1825 to manufacture series at lower costs.
