Honduras exports millions of cigars each year to North America (United States, Canada), Europe (Switzerland, Germany, France, Denmark) and Central America. It is in Santa Rosa de Copan, in the heart of the country's largest tobacco region, that the legendary 'Flor de Copan' cigar factory is located. Created in 1976, it is supplied by thirty-three 'fincas' and produces each year seven million hand-made cigars distributed around the world by twenty brands.
