Northwestern Corsica, the shores of the rocky tip of La Revellata are home to important biodiversity. Despite the strong westerly winds, the warm weather and the salt spray, the vegetation grows in a law maquis. Rare and endemic plant species tolerate these conditions such as the Armeria soleirolii.
