Several rock formations of various sizes outcrop off Cap Camarat on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, along the Var coast. The most important is identified and known as the Rocher des Portes. This fairly large rock, partially covered with a vegetal carpet, is surrounded by tiny rocky islets from which only the tips emerge.
