Le tiki Tapaii du site archéologique de Lipona est le plus grand de Polynésie. Il mesure 2,67 mètres de haut.
Son nom Taka’i’i est celui d’un grand chef guerrier.
Il est sculpté dans du «keetu », pierre volcanique rouge, et dégage une puissance impressionnante.
